Why we started

Ask anyone who has moved a 1-bedroom apartment in Houston: the quote starts at $179/hour and a $98 travel fee. The crew takes four hours instead of three. A “stair fee” shows up at the end. Your $500 move is suddenly $800, and you still have to tip.

We built KAK to fix exactly that. One flat rate, sent before the truck rolls. No clock ticking against you. Stairs included. Travel included. Same rate weekday or weekend.

What we do — and don’t do

We do: Studios, 1-BR, and 2-BR apartment moves anywhere in the Houston metro. Same-day slots available. Furniture disassembly and reassembly. Walk-ups, high-rises, townhomes.

We don’t do: 4,000 sq ft suburban home moves. Long-haul state-to-state. Piano and safe specialty moves. We stay in our lane so every job is run by a crew that has already done exactly that move a hundred times.

Our promise

The price you see in your quote is the price you pay. If the crew gets stuck in Houston traffic, that’s our problem. If the walk-up is four flights, that’s included. If the job takes 30 minutes longer than expected, you still pay the quoted rate. Always.
